As part of my current college course, I've been learning about cells, so I decided to try designing an animal cell. Might update it over time. The ribosomes currently just make more cytoplasm. Copy with credit - Denderth

Ribosomes act like factories for synthesising proteins, while lysosomes essentially produce enzymes for breaking down worn out or damaged organelles / cell components as well as play a part in cell decomposition or something.

Kind of. Essentially, from what I recall, a mitochondrion basically converts glucose into CO2 and water as by-products, with Adenosine Triphosphate / ATP capturing / storing and releasing the produced chemical energy as needed for other cell processes.

If the mitochondria is a powerhouse then wouldn't that mean glucose is coal?
