yes, quite disgusting tbh... the particle never "expands" like what a gas is supposed to do under high pressure, otherwise it will be much more fun.

despite that, no matter what is the simulation logic of tpt, on a macro scale, the events and phenomenons match up, which is a good thing to see.

idk how air/pressure simulation work in tpt, but if you turn on pressure view you can see something that looks somewhat similar to mach diamond.

Update 2: Replaced short nozzle variant to aerospike, also moved the entire thing down a few pixles as appearantly it makes the pressure simulation more stable...
