Again, my interpretation. the thing should be wider, deeper and steeper but tpt doesnt allow such steep slopes from sand so i had to improvise. this is NOT a factual representation.

    then the tank cant go forward because when it turns the track they bury it deeper into the ground and it is too weak to go back on such a slope

    and they dont get stuck in the wires because the tracks would eat that throught but they fall in on the front

    Thats basically it, but i cant draw it from a tank's perspective. the bushes here should be way denser so charging tanks fall in clueless

    Woudlnt it work better the other way so tanks cant see the hole then fall in and the wheels get stuck in the wires and stuff
