    this is a really fascinating use of subframe properties. im not exactly sure how its happening, but you can tell that it is subframe by the direction that the colour tends to move in - most strongly down, but also to the right.

    The seed is defininately better for something more coherent like the beach

    If you use GNAR it has a smoother effect in my opinion, but seed keeps the masses more in their original shape while the gnarl can start to get bunchy over time.
