This save shows the interaction OIL-URAN. The Oil gets hotter, but has no room to turn into gas. So it generates pressure. Pressure is used by URAN to heat the Oil -> Cycle repeated.
uran reactor pressure intresting

RacingKing911: It is possible, but yeah it can be difficult to get to work

Proton beam is very clever. Cool nonstandard things in this (Already +1)

GeigerPie: Thanks for your tip, but it doesn't work... because Coal isn't really pressure-resistent.

It just becomes an infinite source of heat and pressure as you can use more URAN

If you build the inner walls out of insl and get heat out through coal it will never overheat or break

how do you make it not go to gas form?

Hey, i think you could reuse that specific core, for other designs and examples, its just the right mix of overbuild and bulk to be a TANK with the right cooling solution, like this.

Gives me an idea; instead of a pressurized water based nuclear reactor... pressurized oil based nuclear reactor
