dornog70: ERM ACKSHUALLY IT'S METAL RODS MADE FROM RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL. You can't just say "metal rods" and expect people to know what metal you are talking about, not without context, which you have not supplied us with. I know, this save is about nuclear waste, but next time, tell us what metal you are reffering to. And yes, Uranium, Plutonium, Neptunium, Polonium, Thorium, Actnium, etc. are all metals.

replace casing with titatium then add water and a bit of neutron and it gets hot (not explosive though.)
