This optical illiusion will make you see it on blank walls but only if you stare in the middle fire dot. Also if you look at it long enough you will see dissapearing dots

    These are two phenomena: the masking effect, which makes the dots disappear, and retinal persistence, which leaves a negative image for a certain time. This should not be confused with the spots that can be seen after exposure to a very bright light.
