BuffaloMuffalo123: hey, thanks for the comment on upvote, I know the armour subject has been said multiple times but I need to keep the airframe thin and destroyable to pressure. I try and respect history and reality a little bit while keeping it fun :)

Baba_Gryiols: and the bomb bay is in the hull, wings are mostly filled with fuel near the base of them

Baba_Gryiols: Yes, this is why I ask you to give me improvement ideas, I am working on multiple projects, so I don't have the time to make it perfect.

now im not sure if the bomb bay was built into the wings in two parts or if it was one big one in the hull but either way i think you should give it a payload, it could fit very nicely at the bottom inbetween the fuel tanks and the front compartment. did you know that the B in B-17 stands for bomber?

Moettiejoes: well if you ever make it eggicient but still breakable, I could try and make a Me262 with it.
