AuricKerg: yea i know that just saying it can be possible. mainly as an excuse for my lack of ability to make angled rings.
-
objects can have rings like that, but only for short periods of time unless they are constantly supplied by something
-
due to strange gravity quirks, retrograde rings or rings at odd angles to a planet's spin are often highly unstable
-
LightningBMW: it is if the rings form from an object captured in orbit expesually if they are relatively young because not all orbits around something like a star are aligned with each other, but the rings will slowly align with the equator over time expesually if the planet has a fast rotation.
-
pretty sure its entirely possible and fairly normal for gas giants to have bands that arent aligned with their rings.
-
added a border to the mini system model
-
yea but it was already made before realization and didnt want to restart.
-
you can just not make the bands angled
-
abacaxicomuva: not skilled enough
