This is an attempt at recreating the concept of Project Excalibur in TPT; it works well enough most of the time, I mean that's already better than how it performed in real life tests.

    AuricKerg: some rockets boil off a bit of their fuel to pressurize the fuel tanks, since that pressure helps prevent them from collapsing. I don't actually know if the R-36 does that but I put it in anyway.

    i don't know about this but why is there gas and liquid in fuel and oxidiser? usually its one or the other

    Excalibur was an '80s US concept of using the explosion of an atomic bomb to pump a focused X-ray laser, which would then be used to shoot down mid-burn ICBMs, as many as ~50 per shot.
