    but this is more fission than fusion cause it splits hydrogen and oxygen creating a massive amount of energy while fusion is close to the opposite

    the most common type of thermonuke is deuterium tritium fusion which is the fusion of two types of hydrogen

    deuterium oxide and lithium deuteride are different types of "hydrogen"
