    Try putting some caustic gas in. It rises and heats up as it dissolves, and so it forms spots of lava.

    Additionally, If you put a box of vent around it at least 3 block thick, You problem will be solve just use Deco to paint it black.

    Well, Newtonc and Orderssasam are right. But to explain it simply, The pressure becomes negative after a few moments directly above to molten rock (lava) no material what material it is when there is a negative pressure of as small as -0.01 and a pressure of 0.00 the particles will move to the negative pressure.

    it happens because of the heat like for example if you take a blank page go on pressur desplay (2) and put a line of fire on the bottom by the time it reaches the top you will see that it made pressure

    Im not sure why it boils, but i think its something to do with the pressure cos it drops as you wait
