actually, because it is a cable stayed, the integrity of the bridg is still preserved by the cables...so it is ok by my book! i might change it later -

the second one needs a support cable running from the top of the two end towers to the middle tower otherwise the middle tower is just a useless hunk of metal that wieghs a few tons
