    we dont use gunpowder anymore people use black powder which creates a bigger boom

    I know the shell has to come out, just to lazy. Maybe version two. The bang is from both. The occur at nearly the same time.

    then you will see the bullet fly out then a sorta halo apears that is the sonic boom+@ ironrhino the bullet capsule has to come out too

    no the bang you hear is from the gun powder ignigting because otherwise some handguns would be silent. if you ever get the chance to see a bullet in slo mo....
