Vinayak, at low speeds, rounded noses are more efficient and produce less drag. Its only at transonic to supersonic when sharp noses start to become useful. Thats why when you look at modern fighter aircraft, they use sharp and thin aerofoils while back in ww2, they used rounded aerofoils.

I never understood why they make it rounded on the end even though you can just make it sharp on both sides...

I recommend increasing wind speed and adding some streamers, there was a wind tunnel posted that did this and it is better visualization.
