    1. reactor 4 exploded not reactor 3 2. the npp wasn't that close to pripyat, i think it's 3 miles or smth.

    a lil thing you should know.the powerplant isnt next to pripyat its near chernobyl.explosion was small because few workers went into the acid pool and stopped the explosion over 100 times stronger that hiroshima,and population of pripyat found out about the explosion 2 days later concidering that they are less than 30 km away and that in few hours radioactivity passed belarus (and sweden)
