    it's a good idea but it would break too many saves.

    It would expand really slowly due to this forumla:

     

    ΔL=αLoΔT

     

    where ΔL is change in length, α is the coefficient of linear expansion (I don't know where you're going to get the values due to the fact that these metals are imaginary), Lo is the original length, and ΔT is the change in temperature.

    but in plain English, It would have to be an option or something. and it would have to happen in insanely high heat... which at that point the metal would melt. So, no. it would not work. plus there are many saves which have metal at high temperatures that are a pixel length away from a conductor (most notably circuit gates) and this feature would ruin them. Even if you make it an option, its not very useful as a whole. So i must say I do not support this.

    I didnt like the idea just because metl doesn't grow a lot when heated, the enought only to make a little pop. And they wouldnt disapear!

     the growth of metal is not visible for human eyes, why would it disapear or grow? Its really a minimum growth.
