Most FP saves are either cool things with existing elements (like my photon cone), awesome electronics/art, things that take forever and are cool, new ways to use elements, or tutorials.
I started with lasers. pick something you really like and disect it. reverse engineering is how everybody learns how. also read the wiki on the forum web site. you can also search for "tutorial" in the client interface and find many saves that will try and teach you how.
even though I did not start this conversation. I have a question. Where do you learn how to make all this little simple things? I try youtube but there are no full tutorials! like I found a tutorial that was 2 part then ended and all I learned it that metal can be sparked and array shoots little lazer thingys+ if you use psnc into array it will shoot faster but wont send a pulse to the metal it toutches. HELP ME!!!
I used to make alright saves. But it takes time, and skill.

basically use the "Z" key to zoom in so you can make your save really detailed, and use my tutorial on deco; people like nice deco, and just look on FP, see what people are interested in, and make things running along the same general theme, like with my series of vaults, which were inspired by the massively popular Vault Tec. Vault 1, made by shmeeganhoff.
hope I helped (probably didnt)

My save list mainly consists of deut bombs, both the BMN Homepages, some ARAY lasers, some molten-then-cooled cities, a few proton cannons, a fleet of skiffs (I got banned for upvoting that one... Whoops), and last, but most certainly not least: Geoff, My Pet Tron!Heres the save! :)
