Thank you, I did have a look at your channel but I am fine making counter computers and simple printers- I have half a chessboard lying about somewhwere but that proved impossibly complex to build. It's a shame but it was too intricate and would have probably never worked if completed. I wonder if a simple four tier mercury randomiser could create enough randomness for a super basic quantum computer base or maybe life could be used somehow for the uncertainty.

This reply is both here and not here unless you're reading it.

@JamesB, I can see you can do basic electronics, I was just wondering if you were ok with the more complex stuff I do later on in the channel and on my account (A galaga game for example). And a chessboard would be incredibly hard to make simply because of how to have a display with all the pieces, but maybe I'll do something with it.... Who knows, you can make some awesome stuff in this game with a little ingenuity.

You are right, and I did play the Galaga game by the way, the response time was better than most of my stuff and I use Inst as a matter of course, I think I +1ed it. About the intricacy limit it would be really great if you could build Integrated cicuits with usual non wifi computing within TPT and then use those ICs to create larger better computers. Like a sub TPT editor to create the circuitry with space limited by the size of the IC in the main model. I might even try to make a mod for that, I may be lazy but I'm decent with visual basic.

Sounds interesting, I can't wait to see your progress. And a bit off topic.... Is English your first language? Your very fluent but your speech manner is queer. Sorry if I'm being nosy, I'm just curious.

I do tend to ramble on a bit, but no I speak English as a first language being myself a British citizen. As for my writing style I cannot comment, I suppose it must be down to any influences (books, teacers etc.) that I have encountered in my life. Having glanced at your profile I see you are an US citizen, which could help explain any discrepancy as part of a widening language gap between English and American English, using -re instead of -er and so on. I do not consider the question nosy, just a little bemusing - I attend one of the better schools in Westminster and this 'Queerness' you speak of has never been pointed out to me.

I am however not the best typist, and so the occasional typo may crop up here and there.

At least you are the only person who I saw noticed that

some people (not some) most people dislike saves because the(y) feel that it will be in the front page and they don't want that

or because the save has too much likes so they will be very angry about that

    simple example youtube

some people sub to make sure they will dislike every video the channel upload

I only saw two videos that has/have too mach likes without any dislike

I think it is probably the same with any sort of sharing site, however I just cannot see what is fun about going through a channel or page voting everything down- and I find long, repetetive tasks relaxing.

This is a terrible idea. If I want to downvote someone just because I don't like them, I personally see nothing wrong with that. As long as someone is not spamming accounts to abuse voting, then that person should be able to vote however he wants, for whatever reason.

Requiring comments/reasons when downvoting has been suggested a couple of times before, most recently in http://tpt.io/:17893

I believe that downvoting should be no more difficult than upvoting - so if a comment is not required for upvoting, a comment should not be required for downvoting.

Detailed opinions are needed to tell you how to improve a save. But forcing people to give an opinion will not necessarily result in additional detailed opinions, more likely the same number of detailed opinions plus a lot of single word useless opinions (e.g. "broken", "rubbish", "boring").

There's also a risk of harassment or revenge downvoting if people know who has downvoted on their saves.
