He needs to know the temp required to make a zero-gravity city that does not use gravity mode 1.

Every element is different... It's coded in per element, check powder.h

So if I make a gravity pump that has the exact opposite force of vertical gravity, then the elements won't float with zero gravity?

I 'm sorry but this is so hard to explain..

How about this: you tune the GPMP to make a specific element levitate, you then make the bottom of the city out of that element and use gravity to contain the gravity.

    Ok, I see the problem,
guys, i'm not trying to make a levitating city,
I'm trying to make an upside-down city

I was going to put a long strip of gpmp on the top of the screen, set the temp to twice to whatever the vertical gravity's strength is and build a city down.

I wasn't trying to make a levitating city, but I can keep that in mind :)

So, what is the strength of vertical gravity?

gravity is so unrealistic this game, so there is no real measurement

That's the problem, gravity weakens over distance so parts of your city may fall up but other parts may fall down.

every element is different, just go by dust... its in powder.h, look for dusts gravity, go to console, !set temp gpmp dust gravity + 273.15 then make from there
