Learn the useful hotkeys in TPT by muscle memory. That way, you can just create large stuff quickly and easily with tools like the flood fill, straight line, etc.

Also choose something to focus on. (not like me, I'm all over the place and I don't think I've made anything that good lately lol :) )  Powder Toy introduced me to logic and circuits, and now I'm designing an 8bit processor on paper! Just find something you love, ignore any mean comments surrounding how bad it might be, and go on from there. Put your heart and soul into every save.
