I was banned because I asked about a ban, in a way that explained why I believed I was not breaking any rules, and even said that if it was breaking them then I would ask for a thread lock and not bring it up again. Well rule 9 says to PM the mods. How am I supposed to know who to PM??? I don't know every mod, and the ban was completely illegitimate. The other given reason was the threads name did not specify anything. It was "shroom207." The thread was about shroom207. What the f**k. I can't take it anymore the mods are constantly PMSing and obviously have no idea whatsoever of how to be mods. I give up, Goodbye Powdertoy I hate that a game as amazing as you was ruined by such ignorant fools.

Well, I'm starting to work out what exactly happened last night... 0_o Very weird. Waking up to see the BoS thread is locked without any sign of spam... Just no.


I do like this idea of locking them, they were getting out of control. I think we need a roblox style group system (I used to play it a while ago), it allows you to keep track of groups, search for groups, keep updated... etc.

Yeah, sort of like Roblox.

You see, we would have a list of ranks. Roblox does the most important to the bottom, but it wouldn't hurt to do it the other way round just to seem a little more like hierarchy for those non-roblox players.

We would also have a "group wall" which could work like the forums would. However, group owners could have moderation over it, say delete some posts on it etc.

Group owners could also could have a panel to promote and demote members, as well as giving them priviledges for each rank, say a member is allowed to post, a trial member isn't, or an admin rank could control the wall etc.

This idea is optional, but perhaps we could conduct trades or merge or something like that with other groups just to be business like.

Would this be hard to code or put into TPT?

Yeah. Like that except fitted with what I mentioned above, as well as not completely copying Roblox. But yes, much like that.

I think you guys are getting your hopes up, if groups are brought back it will just be another forum subtopic that cannot go on the front page and you will need permission from a mod/simon to create a group. Either way I think its a good chance to add more structure and moderator support to the group system.

I think if there was a new website for it (a sub-domain) that would be like http://groups.powdertoy.co.uk that would have what people mention before, with the leasers having moderator privileges on it, but the mods on this forum would have the privileges on all of the groups, and other great things. I know this would take a while to make but it would be great and than the groups would only fill up the recent topics on the sub-domain of http://groups.powdertoy.co.uk
