@macquarry(View Post) I can't resist helping people with speeches and other similar things. I get A/A*s in this sort of thing. I am a literary God apparently and I just love being able to help people. I know some things many other people don't notice and it is really annoying. I had to learn the slow speech and gaps things because I was doing a reading in church (I'm not religious but it was for the Christmas service so it would be mean to say no).
Wow, I didn't think this thread would go this far. BTW, that's a long signature. And shouldn't it be Manager of Gum Club rather than Manger of Gum Club
Because I think the last time a "Manger" did anything important was when baby Jesus was born in it. X3
@macquarry(View Post) You have 1-5's? I am in WA. And at my school, we have E's, D's, C's, B's, A's, and for the special people A+'s. We do have a number system too. With the speech: You always want to listen to other speeches, often famous ones and think about them while reading yours... try and read it how the famous speech was read, then convert it to the same linguistic structure. When I was in year 7 I got an award for having the best speech skills in the school. I made sure it sounded professional.
Age is awesome... I will be 16 when I graduate school, while most will be 17. (I am meant to be in year 10, but I am in year 11.)
