So were you actually ever able to use version .4 at all? (besides the initial startup where it says "restarting", which is normal and happens every update) And does the "SDL" logo appear at startup?
Anyway once I put it in the play store your problem may be fixed. If the answer to both of those questions is "no" then I think I know what the issue is. -
Update: I fixed a crash when selecting elements. Seems rare, also seems to be more likely when you select them very rapidly.

I'm not the one that was selling it, I can't get you a refund.
I do have a question though, have you installed the new 0.4 version? Does it install cleanly on top of the one that was in the play store? (without requiring uninstalling the old one first)
I will put my version for free in the play store probably this week or next week (since it is completely ready to be put in there now) -
I installed 0.4 and it works.
