75% realistic is already far too much. If anything, the MOST it deserves is a 25% for Snell's Law and fission.
An element that turns into any other with pressure is NOT in the game, and can't be recreated (unless you're looking for jank).
Besides, PSTE(SAND) is unintuitive.
We'll leave it up to the developers to add. I'll make a PR.
Also, to keep old saves with PSTE(X) working, I'll make it so it only works when tmp == 1.
You could accidentally set the ctype while trying to set the ctype of another element with PROP.
I'm glad someone's talking about the feature I suggested on this thread, instead of PSTE turning into any element. I was ready to request this thread to be locked, because people kept talking about PSTE turning into every element, even though I said twice that we were getting off topic; it felt like my thread was being hijacked. We don't have hexavalent chromoium, but here's an upvote and a smiley face for helping me get things back on track. 1+ :]
I said three times that this this thread is for talking about PSTE turning into CNCT with heat after having mixing it with SAND, not for talking about PSTE turning into any element that matches it's ctype with pressure or otherwise. I was just trying to suggest a feature I thought would be useful and give SAND another practical use besides GLAS production (landscapes is not a practical use); instead I find myself having to say again and again that PSTE turning into every element makes no sense and that we already have RSST/RSST for this. If you want PSTE to turn into any element, go make your own thread about it; I'm not interested, and I don't like my thread being hijacked. Two downvotes and angry faces for both of you--one each. -2 >:[ >:[
TO DEVS AND MODS: I'm so sorry you had to see that; I'm usually a chill guy, but I just couldn't take it anymore. I hope you can forgive me for losing my temper, and that hope you consider my idea about PSTE heating into CNCT after having been mixed with SAND. But I also humbly request that this thread be locked so that I can focus on brainstorming other ideas instead of what I hope isn't a lost cause.
nah PSTE has got to be the new CTYPE-transformer
also we need a real name for elements which turn into their ctype under certain conditions
also what's wrong with PSTE turning into it's ctype? it wouldn't hurt the premise of PSTE+SAND becoming PSTE(CNCT)
