Some of the nominations are published a lot earlier earlier than 2014 (I saw one from way back in 2011) . Is that ok? Because I thought that since this is 2014 Powdies, it should have new saves so that it is fair for the newer saves that are entered as the old ones already had a chance before :/
Otherwise it would be like a 1940's film star getting nominated for an Oscar's for a 1940's film whilst being in say 2014 even if they're past their prime or are long dead.

As long as they haven't been awarded a prize before or even nominated, it would be fine with me. We don't have too many nominations so far and we need everything we can get.

Hey, just visiting after being inactive for awhile.
Love these new creations! Having been away for so long, most of the electronics submissions look way more high-tech than I have remembered. It's great that the Powdie Awards are still active each year, and can bring attention to the website's new and growing community of innovative individuals.
So glad to know that you've kept the event going and the collaboration it brings!

PS: I see you don't have anyone making the trophies... Do I get the chance to ameliorate my last attempt at making trophies?
PPS: Are we still using the old scoring method (aka a score for categorical position and a score for overall position)?
