I know, the level of debate suprised even I, and yes I agree historic data should be wiped in accordance with schiko's ideas about fp decay
I have no clue- but like most forums it probably works by logging each new ip to visit using cookies, that way when someone who has already seen the thread comes back the prescence of the cookie tells the server not to recount them.
My save?
oh, actually I have been fortunate enough to only experience one troll in my history of TPT uploading, but I did notice a trend over the time I have used TPT (even before becoming a member) which indicated discontent with downvotes so I decided to put the matter to open debate. If you would like to see one of my saves I will attach a couple below.
It has to, otherwise there would be a log of every save ever viewed by a user.
Im liking the whole remove the downvotes system! That would mean Geoff, My Pet Tron would have a score of 8 instead of 2! :D
BTW, if my idea involving tiers is to be implemented, another mechanic that needs to be added for it to be fair is that the time periods have to vary depending on current online activity. This is because, at certain times, there are a lot of user online (so more chances of getting upvotes), while at other times, there are few (so less chances). The time period would have to be extended when there are few users and decreased when there are more.
