I'm pretty sure it was in your first post that you said it the logo had to be a png....
And you also said the logo couldn't clash with the wiki's colours, yet in the same sentence you said the colour scheme would change to match the logo... Is it just me or does anybody else see the madness in triclops's writing?...

lol, rules can change or not follow specifically if the quality of the output is that high, raj.k did an exceptional job .

I agree with triclops. The quality of the gif is outstanding! I went to the wiki and viewed it with the gif as it's logo and believe it to be very fitting.

It was his contest. He is allowed to change the rules. Besides the quality of the logo was outstanding. Nothing topped it.

Nice triclops. Just go and change your OP to get rid of the "4.)Must be a .png file" so that you don't have to admit your wrong. Also, whoever keeps deleting my posts, don't try and cover up the mistake that you clearly made.

You can change the rules just do not change them after you pick the winner. Simple as that. Thanks for making this more fair.

I did some researching on GIF quality and, apparently, you can save GIFs in 256 colors in Premiere CS3, but not CS4 or CS5. If anyone knows otherwise, please tell me.

Other than that, the only way to increase the quality would be to make it in a different format, which is just not practical.

I was thinking after the video finished playing, it switched to a high quality png that just stayed static. Wouldn't repeat, but it would look nice without sacrificing the GIF.

Anyway, GIF doesn't have the power to make high quality videos, so I see why mine would be less than desirable, so I still think we should hold a poll. Wikis are a community project, after all.

I think a static, non-animated image would be more suitable. I especially like the ones that Joey-Jo0 has showed us, they are very similar to the one I use on this website and it looks simple and elegant.

The work produced by raj.k is very good, it would be a fantastic banner, but it doesn't work too well as a logo in a page header.
