It's conductive, so no.

I think it would be cool for particles to have a distinct heat signature, with the new update its nearly impossible to spot objects in the heat view, or perhaps have the air use a different heat scale, or maybe different view modes.

@roguegeneral-- Well, there were a lot of defectors...

But maybe perhaps some sort of heat scale you could adjust, because I think that might eliminate the impractical heat view, and that way you could conduct very precise analysis of heat distribution as well.
