    Yeah in about maybe 50 or 100 years light speed in spaceships might be possible but another 100 hundred years for a faster speed...

    there is no faster speed than that of light. the next step would be hyperspace... I have seen a documentary about that too. This just involves bending the spacetime continuum or at least just space.

    We must also understand that if we travel as fast as the speed of light, we must make sure that there is a perfectly clear path in front of us. Even a tiny meteor would decimate a space ship at that velocity.

    Indeed. when traveling above the speed of light, time is out of the equation, therefore velocity/ speed can not be calculated. that's my opinion.
