Well about 2 days ago i was gonna get online it would not let me.I called technical support and it turns out sony is updating there software :P.Which means everything will be more secure and better.I cant wait for it 2 open back up.But does anyone else know about this as well? (No console wars/flaming/spamming)

Apparently it will be back up tuesday next week or a few days later. After the hack they have had to move the entire infrastructure around and change a ton of the security, hopefully they've done a good job.

In order to apply updates to the core files of a server, the server must be shut down
Even with my apache server, the server has to be restarted when new scripts are installed -

Yes i know that happened but there updating 2 stop that.Which means every network must do it everyonce in a while.When something bad happens.
