i use the file "powder" to open TPT
    But what is "powder-legacy"?
I tried opening it: it is the same... is it?
(in older versions, there was sse and sse2)...

It is the same as sse#, but from what I have gathered, it was to stop people from asking what sse was.
    It worked... kind of.

In previous versions, I think the sse was for older processors, so that would be what legacy is.

Generally speaking the the lower the sse number the older hardware it worked on, if no sse was present it would work on even older.

That is what I was saying, but I was saying it in a weird way

here is a thread that cracker64 explains it in a similar way to Felix

I thought that the legacy word means that was the best powder toy version so they call it the legacy. I dont know if it's right or not.

This thread should be made important or someone should make a thread that explains the meaning and then lock it.
