I would feel left out. I don't think there should be any filters to segregate the community. We need to be a community... not a divided community

Some spammers would be able to get in.
I am at about 21000, And because of that, I can understand how it would feel to be excluded, due to the fact that I didn't know about the actual forum until early this year.
I still think a filter would be a be a bad idea (Unless I was included... that would mysteriously and randomly for no reason change my mind.).
If there was, It would be best for members to be accepted by a select few members.
if not, a filter could take into consideration things such as bans.

if u do user id make it 13000 because i was one of the last sensible users registered i recall :P

but probably a well know users part of the forum for the members thast are well...well known EG.webb,me,vanquish,me4502,the-con ECT.

yeah that sounds like a good Idea, what if those well known members were somehow "elected" by other well known members?
