Senerio: An author publishes something that he made and multiple people think that he can do better and give him advise on how to improve it the they mostly voted down. The author improves his creation and updates his publication. The same voters like the improved publication but they have already voted down and thought the commented that they like it, the author's publication will not be as popular and won't be seen by as many other voters as if the voters had voted up, but the publisher could not ask the voters to not vote down and give the author feedback instead so he can improve his publication the the voters' satisfaction. If the author saves his updated publication as a new one then he will loose those votes that were positive. Solution: Allow voters to be able to change their vote. This might also decrease the number of publications that ask for green votes. When a voter's opinion on a publication changes, they should also be able reflect that change in their vote.
@gamax92(View Post) Yes, but still cannot understand it. You mean that the save author could "menace" someone who voted down? If that, you can just ignore it, or report to mods. If not that, explain better please
