    This is an excellent Idea, I was thinking about it yesterday. If this was possible, you could create lasers that change colour with bizzare and such. +1 from me.

    I could really see this to be useful, but keep the heat change thingy.

    yes. It wouldn't even brake saves, because when its not decoed it could change color by heating.

    also, by primary source, this exact concept has been applied to fireworks, so its obviusly not impossible.
