@Catelite(View Post) Agnosticism is refered to skepticism. It primarly revovles aroud the belief that the universes existance can be explained without mentioning God, but at the same time acknowledging there is room for doubt, the size of doubt depending on that person's beliefs.
@tommig(View Post) That's why I believed in christianity until I left primary school. The way they said it made it seam like fact, and that it was right, with no room for arguments.
@cooldaddy96(View Post) ...Yes, which is why agnosticism is a more socially-acceptable form of atheism. If you don't believe in a god in effect, you -are- atheist. :P
@cooldaddy96(View Post) That's what I mean, as an idea it is a far fairer system than capitalism in many ways but when applied to somewhere, lets say Russia, it is abused. You still had the incredibly rich and the insanely poor, same as it is in most capitalist nations (on a different scale from place-to-place). The only way it could be perfect would be if humans were perfect which is obviously not the case.
I'm Atheist. Why would there be anything wrong with it?
@Jackeea(View Post) That doesn't disprove the existence of gods... after all, "God" could be a total prick. He could enjoy the suffering or stay out of human matters as an experiment. It's more that our Universe does not show evidence of intelligent design. Also, if he were all powerful, couldn't he make a rock that even he couldn't lift, and if he couldn't lift it, would he really be all powerful?
