    i read the wiki and understand why black hole distorts signs and everything. my question is what is the purpose? I just dont understand why the mods included this but ignore so many elements people suggest. if anyone wants to discuss this or other gravity related stuff, just go right ahead

    It is gravity lensing, so, as it is Fancy display, the devs decided to add it.
    They need no reason.
