hello, i am new here so i don't know many things about powder.
i used powder before, but when it had only like 10 elements, now it has like 100 and it's really confusing. my first project with the "new" powder toy is https://powdertoy.co.uk/Browse/View.html?ID=626461 . I know it isn't good, so don't tell me that.
It's good for a beginner.i can help you if you are having trouble with some elements.if you want to start electronics then your best bet is to try and make a counter.
-Straight lines can be drawn using shift and clicking and holding the left mouse button while dragging in the direction you want the line.
-Blocks/cubes can be drawn by holding in ctrl and left mouse button and dragging in a direction.
-You can open and close zoom by pressing Z (example:press and hold z and then click on the screen where you want to zoom in and then let go of Z,you can zoom out again by pressing z again)(usefull for small electronics.
-you can copy stuff using ctrl+C and the pressing Ctrl+V to paste it.
-Deco layer can be opened using B (kind of like drawing on elements)
Most important thing is to ask other for help if you are having trouble with electronics, some things can seem pretty hard or impossible to make until you know how they work.
Best thing to do is to start out slow and learn how all of the elements react with each other (makes it easier) You can choose who you think is best to ask for help via looking at their saves. For example I would specialise at electronics, therefore you could ask me (there are better people though) If you don't know how to find someones save, just click their name, then the saves tab (based on your first post, you already know that :P).
alexander...id appeal to an experienced user that is bored to be your personal tutor.....im already mentoring right noe, but it is working well for my student!
