My screen sometimes goes black and then goes into power saving mode, like if the PC wasn't on. I tried some stuff, but the only sollution is restart. Why, and how to fix it?

Is it a laptop or desktop?

Desktop. I just tried removing both ends of the connecting wire and replugging them (I had to unscrew them first). Let's see how this goes.

Yeah, I think it worked. It also fixed an old problem about the screen turning a blue tint sometimes.

Edit: zat failed. Trying to plug it in to a safer source, since I think it has something to do with power surges. I moved it to my stabilizer, which I use for my PC not to short out (I managed to short two PC coolers that way)

Your problem is puzzling me. With computers, some problems can have so many causes ,that it's almost impossible to fix. A power source issue could be the cause, it couldn't be a monitor problem, right?

    No.

    Power isn't the problem
