Your 'CMD Animations' are called Batch animations ( If there are animations )

If echo is called with no parameters, it displays whether echo is on or off.
So
echo (space character here)
won't print a blank line, because that space will get thrown out.

It says that you can print a blank line with
echo.
(no space between "echo" and the period).
