Is there any software out there that can record gameplay footage of Powder Toy? Preferably for free, I don't want to spend money on schoolwork ;D

V is video, I think. But you have to take every frame(?) and put it in a GIF image. Otherwise I have no idea, my screen recorder costs money.

The only thing that I can find is that pressing "P" takes a screenshot. Is there anything like Gamecam or FRAPS that would work?

    Thanks,

FRAPS, HyperCam, RecordMyDesktop, just to name three.

The other option is to download the beta/compile your own, press D for debug, V to start "recording" (1 screenshot per frame) then import into your GIF editor of choice, GIMP's Import as Layers works well for this.

The recording feature of tpt is completely broken and useless by itself. If used improperly you'll get several gigabytes of files you can't open.

There are some lua scripts that might be to use the feature to make a real video though. I found this by searching: https://powdertoy.co.uk/Discussions/Thread/View.html?Thread=15965

Also, I made a gif recorder that can be used on Windows, if you're willing to use an external library.
