I'm looking into learning more advanced stuff, but it's hard to find tutorials for them.

EDIT: This what you wanted? Getting confused now

If you want to share a link, just paste it in. No HTML needed

woops. I see everyone saying "use pastebin next time" and I've never posted anything, so I don't really know how to use it anyway

EDIT: Yes I am going to change it from AAAA

Anyways, I know this is something anyone with at least 2 days of experience with Lua can whip up, but it's hard to find advanced tutorials like how to make something like the moving solid element... This is about the best I can do without ripping off half of someone else's script. Do you know how I could learn more advanced stuff?

    example: https://www.google.com

You must post the whole link in for it to show up like that

For the lua, nah. I don't know any lua at all :P

EDIT: I do know c++ tho

Just keep atempting to script, see other people's scripts, take parts of these and learn what they do, with time you will understand how to do whatever you want to do. And I dont think there's a problem with ripping of other people's scripts, as you dont publish them, or if you do, credit the author.

That part of the script looks perfectly fine to me. No issues, and it does everything "properly" (I see a lot of bad copy-pasted code in scripts)

I do recommend just looking at other people's scripts though. There really isn't a tutorial ...
There are lots of scripts here: http://starcatcher.us/scripts/ (with a bad UI). Lots of elements to look at, I have a few scripts that add elements on there too which could be considered "examples", but do a lot of complicated things. This one is pretty standard and shows how to do powered electronics and a basic neighbor check:
