Hi!
I’d like to suggest an improvement for the ARAY element. Right now, its beams (BRAY) keep going until they hit something, but sometimes it would be useful if they could stop earlier even in empty space.
It would be cool if we could control the maximum beam length, maybe based on temperature or some other property. This would help make cleaner circuits and more precise setups without beams shooting across the whole map.
If changing ARAY isn’t ideal, maybe a new element could be added that works the same way but has a limited beam range?
What do you think?
PS: (Sorry if the message is strange, I used chatgpt to write it because I don't speak English)
you can with tmp2, tmp and different conductors
Don't forget to fork this somewhere on the testing branch. Otherwise, they accept everything (irony). There are plenty of bugs in the mechanics right now, and to avoid any confusion...
use cray(bray) and do not use pscn for it
tmp controls how long the beam is
tmp2 controls how far away the beam is from the cray
That doesn't work because the BRAY won't spark anything or have it's ctype altered by FILT.
It still won't have it's ctype altered.
