I want to make one. But is it even possible to make a laser that is effective using Bray?
I searched for it and didn't find anything that was any good...

you mean a bray that can actually melt stuff?

Thanks for the incredibly unhelpful post.

Yes. I'd like to get one to maintain it's heat but every one i make it loses it's heat before making contact with a target.

Dude, load a save and try to see how it works! There are already tons of Bray lasers, so go ahead and study them instead of asking for someone to do all the work.

As I have stated, I looked and NONE of them that i've seen work properly.
I've looked through dozens of them.
I'm wondering if it's even possible to make an EFFECTIVE Bray laser, I already know you can make a crappy laser with it.
I was thinking maybe somebody did not tag their creation correctly or somebody could figure out a new way to do it so that the Bray retains it's heat long enough to burn through something.

Right now, you can only make ineffective lasers with BRAY. If you only want to melt something, it's not that hard.

I just put some GoL oscillators and passed the BRAY through that. However, the target has to be close. So you can make a burning laser with BRAY, but it will be very inefficent.

Bummer... Oh well, I was just wondering. Guess I'll just move on to the next project then. Gonna make a Photon/Neutron/Pressure beam cannon. Or at least try. It will be shooting all three at once and so far i have the basics down but I'm working on finding the most effective pattern for the Neutrons/Photons in the beam to be in.

Thanks. I'll be sure to upload it once I finish it. (if it turns out okay)
