PIPE not drawing properly?

    I just tried to make a pipe to transport a powder from left to right, but when I draw a pipe like I always do(and that works, like on the wiki) it makes just one or two colors, and from top to bottom. Not from left to right.

    This way it doesn't work, of course.
    Here, screenie.

    Then you erased it wrong?
    Try again, but without the tightly packed wall around it? Might work.

    As in, you erase the blocks of wall around it, do what you normally do with PIPE, then after it's set its direction, replace the walls.

    you must wait before the whole thing is covered with that stripes (expect the side's ofcourse) and then open the other side ok??

    I did that, didn't work.

    @cctv
    I did this but even when only one side is erased, it starts filling itself from both sides, which makes all elements go in in the middle and come out at the sides. So that doesn't work either :(

    I do wonder why this happens as it's never happened before and makes constructing pipes a pain in the bottom.

    The border of PIPE has to be a particle material (Brick, Diamond, etc) not a Wall.

    it works by me so i'm thinking what are you doing when you draw pipe cause you must wait for the brick to pop-up on the sides and then you open something right??

    Well, that could be the problem, then. Will this be 'fixed' in future updates?

    Erase the wall around it.
    Then wait for it to spawn brick.
    Then do the deletion of one end. That is what I said, and what I meant in my previous post. Simon's post confirmed that this is correct and will work.
