Two suggestions for devs/modders

Ive had two ideas fermenting in my head the past week or so, ive been wanting to make sure they are well thought out so as not to end the same as all the other failure of suggestions

    The first is Crude Oil

The abv. would be something like CROL

The color would be more of a darker shade of the brown that oil is now

The functionality of the element would be that by heating it you can distill the other oils ( oil, diesel, and gas) by heating it, so say you heated it to the first "level" where diesel would be produced then you would get diesal and CRDA
Then the next level would produce oil and would CRDB
The third would produce GAS, all the CRB would be converted into gas

This could be implemented in various method from ACTUAL distilling plants to better powerplants and engines, and the countless other uses people would undoubtedly find for it

The OTHER idea is a sort of WIFI-LCRY mix. I havent been able to think of much of a name but am leaning towards something like WLCY ( wireless liquid crystal )

It would function the exact same as LCRY EXCEPT:
It would conduct no heat and not melt
If its counter part ( based on temp) is activated, it is activated, if its counterpart is deactivated so is it

It would be able to be colored, and transmit the on/off state to NORMAL lcry

So if you had a 5x5 square of lcry with a single pixel of wlcy in the center you could activate that specific 5x5 square by activating a pixel of the same temp as the wlcy in the center

this particular element would revolutionize the TPT displays we can create

Also as an added note i believe WLCY would work best if it could NOT conduct to other WCRY that differ in temp

    So your ideas are rotten?
Just kidding of course but your first idea is intresting, the only thing I think is not good is that it would require one element per stage. If you could think of a way to be able to produce different oils with only one element, it would be pretty epic.

I don't really get your second idea so yea..

    Also a bit UTT...

    Maybe
Or maybe when under X conditions, it splits it all the kinds of oils ( Kind of like when they refine petrol or something )

First off they not rotten just require time to ripen :P

I thought that mabye the TMP function could be used for it but...im not actually sure how it all works so yea.....but if it can work the it would just have a change in TMP

and the WCRY would basically be a pixel of wifi and lcry mashed together so that instead of transmitting charge it would transmit the on or off state of lcry

so instead of having this: (L=lcry P=pscn N= nscn )

    L L L P
    L L L
    L L L N

which makes it so you need a good bit of spacing in between each piece of lcry OR makes it so you have to have parts of the lcry "pixel" not light up to fit it in you could have this (W=WCRY)

    L L L
    L W L
    L L L

    ( somewhere else on screen ---> ) N W W P

For the crude oil i mean like

crude oil >heated to say 100 degrees = diesal + crda ( or setting it to a diff tmp )

then crda >heated to 200 degrees = oil + crdb (or again the diff tmp)

then finally crdb> heated to 300 degrees = gas

so each time it reaches that higher temp it removes the organal particle and produces the other particle(s)
like crude oil going to crda would have the crude oil dissapear
