This isn't the realistic toy, nor should a branch of it be made. Almost all of what you listed is what people would always suggest in Feedback before you came. And what's the big deal about noobs anyway? They exist, they have a right to post, everyone starts off as one, and you are a noob anyway.
Everyone takes time to learn. When I began posting in my old account in October, my first question could have been easily answered if I used the search bar or searched through the wiki. If humans did not make mistakes, we would not have most of the technology we have today.
@CAC-Boomerang(View Post) So are you saying that there can't be anything realistic because it is called The Powder Toy? It isn't The Unrealistic Toy... so you have no argument in that.
Although, in my opinion, I would like this idea, but I just don't see it making its way into anything other than a mod... for now... mainly because it is such a big addition.
No, what I'm objecting to is people who want all or some of these or similar realistic physical properties in TPT for it to be realistic rather than useful. In other words, my policy is use rather than realism.
Anyway, I'll list some reasons:
Diamond is destroyable DMND, the current element we have now, is not actually DMND. It's an indestructable element named DMND as Diamond is one of the most indestructable minerals humans know.
Coal turns to DMND under pressure See above, and then how are we going to get BCOL?
Phot doesn't set things alight at low temperatures I guess this wouldn't be too bad, but because of this it is a reliable igniter and should not be changed.
Fire can burn for a much shorter time Again, fire, a.k.a. combustion, is not a solid, liquid or gas, and TPT isn't perfect.
Wood turns to coal under pressure This would break a lot of saves. Also, interestingly, If you use NEUT on COAL, it turns to WOOD. So that's almost the same thing, just not quite.
