How To Post Animated GIF?

    i want to know how to post small animation frames just like in the wiki "how to use wifi"
    it shows a metl and nscn animating...
    well by pressing p do it really captuers frams?and how to open them?and how to post them direct just like the wiki without link?

    Capture frames you want (by pressing F then P repeatedly) -> Look in your TPT directory -> See the 'frame0001' etc? Put them together with a program (I'm not sure what to use) -> Get the .gif that's made -> Upload the file here -> Then I think you do [[File:imagenamehere.gif]]

    that's the problem i dont no wat to use. and i want to post it directly without a link.

    I used Adobe Fireworks to make all those animations. I used Powder Toy to make the screenshots (by pressing P and then F to skip frames), and I used xnView to batch transform all of the screenshots, in order to remove the black space in the screenshots and resize the screenshots to make it easier to see.

    Gifsicle (hard to use) and Gimp are free and can make a GIF from frames.
