    I need help making this laser cold. I don't know what I am doing wrong. :(

    make the cooling barrel a bit longer, and also try using still life (a 4x4 square of GOL will do)

    i think 2x2 GOL works as well, id have to test out which works better tho , lots of 2x2's or fewer 4x4's

    If you have a more than 2px wide beam, you can use PCLN as filling because it doesn't do anything when heated/cooled and it passes photons through even when inactive. Just make sure to create it away from your photon cloner and not to activate it!
    You can cool it the old-fashioned way which basically is a heat conductor frame with some LN2 inside and a few pix of VOID to keep it draining.
    Or you can use the new way, using a heat conductor frame filled with STAN(frame must have a more than 3x3 empty rectangle inside)
