Wouldn't it be great to have a comment voting system? That way, people could show their support or dissent for that comment, without resorting to spammy messagings, or conducting a long well though out comment. It would also make spam detecion easier, as moderators could be alearted to downvoted comments, and also it would help clear up rule breakers, as their infringing comment would most likely be downvoted.

i don't think mods like this they will have even more work although i agree that this is useful for some saves with spam things but i wouldn't implent it.

Why not? I don't see any unobvious drawbacks? Could you elaborate?

do you mean why it wouldn't be implented if yes then because it will give the mods lot's of extra work.

and personally i think that a comment shouldn't get rated then just joke comments etc will get the above place if they are good jokes ofcourse xD (not that there is anything wrong with that XD)

Then that just adds another area to self vote. Also people would have "Thumbs up for..." "Don't vote up on my comment..." etc. You're adding more places to the break rules.

Good point, but comment voting would achieve anything, unlike save votes. If you vote whore on the forums, you won't achieve anything, but if you vote whore on saves, you make it to the front page.

Also, I suspect the majority would vote down comments like that, just like people vote down on vote whores.
